Moab UT - April 26 through May 1
Here are my pictures, hopefully others will add more. I will be doing a separate post for each day...
Re: Moab UT - April 26 through May 1
Day 1 (Sunday) - warm up on Hell's Revenge trail, including some play time on Hell's Gate and Escalator.
Re: Moab UT - April 26 through May 1
Day 2 (Monday) - Pritchett Canyon. This is listed as the hardest trail in Moab. I would say that is true. We took Scott on it with open diffs for his very first Moab run.
He made it through just fine!!!

Day 3 (Tuesday) - Moab Rim in the morning/afternoon, then a night run on Fins-n-Things (led by Dan Mick, the well known Moab guide).
In the first pic, it looks like Jess is hanging on for dear life as the Jeep leans out over the cliff. In the next pic, you will notice that Robin did not stay in the Jeep for that section. The last pic was a fun sand hill climb.

Day 4 (Wednesday) - Poison Spider Mesa, Gold Bar Rim and Golden Spike (the three trail loop). What a fun day!!!
I forgot my camera that day, so hopefully others will post up some pics from that trail...

Day 5 (Thursday) - Cliffhanger.
Yes, this trail really is on the edge of a cliff for much of the trail. Scott's Jeep was broken that day, so he rode as a passenger with Paul and Jim. MadMark broke an axle on a really steep ledge right on the edge of the cliff.
The last picture (taken from a distance) shows him being winched back up that ledge after the break.

Day 6 (Friday) - Seven Mile Rim.
I don't know why the trail is named that, because it actually is almost 13 miles. Very fun trail, lots of variety.
The red JK is MadMark's rental Jeep. He really didn't want to miss out on wheeling that last day!
The pic of Jon and I hanging out the window doesn't do justice to how far off camber we were.
In the last pic, we are drinking milkshakes at the end of the day, and saying our goodbyes...

Yeah, it was a lot of fun.

Awesome! What exactly was the damage report? Did Madmark break his new front axle?

MadMark broke something in the front diff. We pulled both shafts and they were fine, didn't pop the cover off to see what was broken inside.
Jon broke a rear driveshaft u-joint.
Scott twisted his rear driveshaft (the splines were twisted).
Bill had a front track bar bolt come loose while wheeling that caused severe death wobble on the highway back to town afterward.

Haha! That's funny, Bill! It could be looked at that way, but I think in this one, I was actually helping Jon with his line.....which was pretty important since there was a cliff very close by!

You are right, Bill! Mine turned out pretty much the same way..... Hmmmm, wish there was a way to capture the angles better! I do, however, love the poses of you and Jon!

A little damage from the Moab trip. Looks like a new ring and pinion. Anyone know were I can get one that doesn't break? I didn't see any other damage.

Mark in the Crack!!
The antenna puts the lean in perspective.
Checking for loose parts
I think I can, I think I can.
Heading in the river
Showing them how it's done
Hold on Jason.
