How many rigs were in your group? Is it a casual pace so that folks have time to play on the obstacles, of is there an itinerary to meet? I'm sure I'll be real anxiuos next year, I hope everthing pans out for me, looking forward to it I THINK

Thanks! Your right, definitely more impressive when you're there. I think the phrase "pucker factor" was used multiple times

It depended on the day how many rigs were in our group, but we found we like it best when there is only a half dozen or less. Yeah, the pace is usually casual and some do a lot of playing while the ones that don't usually enjoy watching and taking pics (or help with spotting), so it works out well for everyone.

Re: We're back from Moab
Okay, finally have some pictures uploaded...
Day 1 - Hell's Revenge Trail
Poser pic at the trailhead:
Climging a nice little optional ledge:
Jon entering the hot tub:
Day 2 - Behind the Rocks Trail
Jason on the first obstacle of the day, pretty steep and off camber, and no bypass:
Jon and me posing on a ledge:
A couple of fun little ledges:
Jon on High Dive (this was optional but our whole group did it - pretty intense):
Robin driving on a fun little hill:
Kinda scary spot just before White Knuckle Hill (don't have any pictures of that one, just video):
Couple more fun ledges:
Really cool spot driving on a ledge etched out of the canyon wall:
Day 3 - Kane Creek Canyon Trail
Fun day, but no named obstacles on this trail, just awesome scenery:
We did see one spot on that trail where a truck went over the edge of a cliff and fell about 500 ft vertical. The remains of the truck are still in there, don't know the story. It wasn't a particularly bad spot, just about a 10 ft solid rock ledge we were driving on, on the edge of the cliff. You'd have to be drunk or not paying attention to drive off it...
Day 4 - Metal Masher Trail
This is a decent trail but we were in a large group and moving very slowly. Didn't take many pictures that day.
Dale (Kidmugg on ROF - Ryan's partner in the upcoming Team Trophy Challenge) and his wife Jonalyn:
Yes, they really are sitting 3 feet from the edge of a 2000 ft sheer vertical cliff.
Day 5 - Hell's Revenge Trail
Yes, we did it twice - set out to do a different trail, but got to the trailhead, and there was a group of about 50 toyotas lined up in front of us already started up the trail. It was obviously going to be a very, very, very long day if we trailed along behind them, and this was the Moab Rim trail, no room to pass, so we headed back over to Hell's Revenge...
Robin on a fun little obstacle (and me trying to take pictures and spot at the same time):
Robin drives up Hell's Gate with me riding shotgun:
Jess calmly taking a picture as Jon lifts a tire while 100 ft up in the air on Hell's Gate:
Posing at entrance to the Escalator (Jon and Jason tried it but were denied):
My record stands as the only person in our group who has made it up Escalator without winching.

Re: We're back from Moab
Well, my thoughts are for next year...the 'kitchen pass' has been submitted and tentatively agreed on, so we'll see
Great pics, I can't wait to see the scenery & trails...maybe if enough folks go we can have our own group. You folks have been there enough to know most of the trails now don't you?

Yeah, I would have no problem leading a group down there. We've been on most of the more difficult trails down there now (the Behind the Rocks trail we did this year is rated the most difficult trail, and the White Knuckle Hill obstacle is called "the most terrifying obstacle in Moab" in the Well's guide book).
The only thing harder is the Area BFE trail, which we haven't done. It is so difficult it isn't in any guide books. You have to be seriously built to do any of the obstacles on that trail from what I've heard. I'm not even sure where it is. Paul, one of the guys in our group the last two years, did it with the Northridge4x4 guys last year. He has an LJ with a 4" long arm kit, running 33" tires, and had to bypass just about everything.
