February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Sold! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Yes, my Jeep really is back up for sale. Sadly we've only had it on the trails twice in the last 18 months. Too many hobbies and not enough time. This Jeep is built to handle the tough stuff, has been wheeled and has some minor trail rash to show for it, but overall in good condition and still looks really good when cleaned up. Has about 71K miles on it,
$14,500.00
Full specs and pictures here:

If the Jeep sells, then the trailer will be for sale too for $2450.00 (I will be replacing it with a lightweight ATV trailer). It is 10K lb rated but has tandem 6K axles (8 lug) and is built well enough to handle 12K lbs, just not titled for more than 10K. 2007 Carson 16' with dovetail, steel deck and LED lighting.

Yeah, I'm probably going to cry the day it drives away.
This has not been an easy decision, I've been agonizing over it for several months now...
Re: Sold! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Sorry to see this, its against the law to sell your jeep before you run every trail in the northwest. The only exception is to buy another jeep.

If Jeep would bring out the Gladiator, that might be a possibility. I need a single vehicle that is capable of both expedition type camping/wheeling and hauling 2 dirt bikes in the bed...
Re: Sold! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Well, I say we vote on it! I vote Robin buys the Jeep with a "low ball" offer and then sells it back to you when your "desperate" and crying. Well, do what you got to do.........may have to install a rear seat so you can get out! or bring your dual sport?????

Re: Sold! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Let me get you ready for all the offers you'll be receiving.
$7500.00 with the trailer and a full tank of gas. I'll need a mechanic to look at it Montana. Just let me know who to make the check out to.
Does this jeep have DEATH WOBBLE?
It will cost you more to build the next one.
Think MOAB
($5.00 says he changes his mind)

We'll still be going to Moab, but hauling the two motorcycles instead of the Jeep.

I probably will when I actually have to hand over the keys (probably Monday, maybe not until next Saturday depending on work schedules)...
Re: Sold! 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Congratulations I guess, can I still get that spare unit bearing and I think you still have my spare driveline.

Thanks! I guess... LOL
It has been a roller-coaster day emotionally. I know in my head that this is the right decision financially, but in my heart it hurts...
I do still have the unit bearing, so I'll have to get that to you. I actually forgot the spare driveline was yours, and promised it to the guy who is buying the Jeep, so how much do you want for that?
