February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Re: Reiter videos!
Yeah its a process. Pulling 3+ hours of film from 2 different cameras, both of which have to be converted from their proprietary format twice so MM2 can see them properly.
Then identifying each clip, cutting out the useless stuff (asses, ground, feet, jiggly camera work) laying it out in a rough timeline, edit to make sense, find a soundtrack (or not) , add pictures, transitions, titles and credits.
I leave for work at 3:15am, get home about 4pm, start working on the video project about 7pm, quit somewhere between 1-3am, sleep (or not) rinse and repeat.
It's midnight, I have finished the converting from my videos, edited and rough timeline, now I am starting the video from devs camera. I dont' work tomorrow so dont' have to be at work until 5am at the latest, so I have atleast 4 hours of good editing to get as far as possible
All of this for a 30 min video.
This will all be easier once I spend the $1200 for the video editing software I want.

Re: Reiter videos!
I am in final editing , just need to add credits. I posted on the other thread that I need all the other forum names.
In the future I will just put togther clips (easier) and make a movie later.
