February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Operation Shore Patrol - Sept. 20-21 - Ocean City
Operation Shore Patrol is coming up in just 3 weeks. Robin and I will not be able to make it due to a friends wedding being on the 20th, but hopefully the club will have a good turnout for this event.
If you are coming, you will need to bring proof of citizenship to qualify for free camping - this is a new requirement this year. I just got an email about it from the PNW, and a drivers license and birth certificate is all you need. And you will have to fill out a new form called an I-9 form so that the PNW gets credit for the volunteer hours.

It should, since that is proof of citizenship.

So I just heard that you drivers license alone will work. I also have the form to fill out if anyone wants to do it ahead of time. I can email it to you if you send me your email address. I'd put it up here but I don't know how since its adobe.

I got an email from Jessica Holm (the Region 1 director) confirming what Justin said above - all you need is a drivers license...

Hey guys, wife & I are heading down Saturday with a few others just for the day. We were thinking of staying the night but, don't have anyone to watch the dogs. To much stuff to get ready when they go. Do you guys know what camp site you'll be staying at in the camp grounds or should I just look for the Rock'd N Lock'd banner? Gotta stop by in the morning and hi to my homies

I got a new Email from Angela Holm
Okay, here is the full entire skinny on the I-9 form to be filled out for OSP. If you want free camping, bring your license and your SS card/birth certificate or if you have a passport that will work for both pieces of ID. If you don’t want to give your SS# or your driver’s license info, then you can pay $19 per night for camping. It is only ONE I-9 form per campsite!!!!!!!!!!!! So, if you have 5 people in your site, only one person has to fill it out. Questions, call me!
