February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Nice pics, guys! Looks like it was good turnout of Jeeps!! Did you end up hauling much garbage out? Wished we could have made it but I must say that I had a great time bowhunting in Montana and ended up getting my first bull elk!

Ok, here's the UPDATE on the "Great White Shark" that we found on the beach. I was able to get in contact with the Seattle Aquarium and sent the photo to them to verify what we had and this is what I got in response.
Lawrence,
The shark in your photos appears to be a Salmon Shark, Lamna ditropis. They are very similar in appearance to a great white shark. You can find more information on the shark at the following web site: http://marinebio.org/species.asp?id=379
Enter Lamna ditropis in any internet search engine for more info.
Thank you for sending the photo. You have chanced upon my very favorite species of shark!
