Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Re: I worked on Tuesday so I bought this....
Ok, so serious business... When I bought it I knew there was a little front end noise. A little growling. I pulled the tires and rotors off and the wheels bearings "seem" fine. When I rotate the shafts I can hear some noise but I can't tell if it's the carrier or wheel bearings. The noise seems to be resonating the whole axle. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

If the wheel does not wiggle with you hands when jacked off the ground, I have found that the carrier barings went bad. They do seem to resinate when driving.

I still can't pinpoint this problem! I can barely feel it in the floor board and steering wheel. I didn't get a chance to pull the front diff cover since Napa and Shucks didn't have a gasket!

Passenger side axle shaft u joint is bad. Think that would cause a grinding noise? The joint is dry and loose, about 1mm of movement.

Definently, since you have automatic hubs. About the gasket, why don't you just use the stuff in a tube?

So, I thought I saw a little play in the passenger hub and replaced it. I still have the same noise, maybe a little less but I don't know. I pulled the cover off the diff and it looks good. Is someone willing to drive or ride in the Jeep and try to nail the noise down?

I will change the u-joints. Looks like half the noise is gone. The driver's side hub is noisy but not loose. I'm just gonna run it until it get noisier! I've never change axle joints. Easy, hard?

a vise or u-joint tool will be a good idea, those suckers can be hard to break free if they've been on for awhile.
