February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Hey Joey, look the attached link in the initial post, primarily logging roads, should be some good snow
Still reviewing the truck/trailer parking options, probably off the FS70 rd, then driving a short distance down hwy410. Depends on where we go in at also?

He said he wont be ready. Will we need the NW trail pass or that other stupid one for parking the trucks?

Tell him to put some gas in, check the oil & kick the tires! I'll call him tomorrow at work
Yes I believe so, NW for the tow rigs & discovery for the jeeps to be safe

Hey Zip,
Thinking of going, I need to get tabs for the trailer. Is the Wash. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife pass the same as the NW pass? It seems we need too damn many permits. Hopefully the pavement driving is not too far, I have extreme death wabble at 45mph and it takes about 10min to power through it with the 4-runner. ha-ha

UPDATE
Took a drive out to Greenwater today, the snow level is surprisenly high, we'll be parking off of the FS70 rd, then drive 4 miles up hwy 410 to the FS73 rd. There's no parking on the FS73 rd due to about 2' of snow on the sides. If one wants to eat breakfast at Charlie's please come earlier so we can try to get on the road be 930amish
The gas station at Greenwater was closed today, gas posted was $4.19 for regular. So gas up in Greenwater if needed
Referencing the attached link, I'd say no on the Discovery Pass
http://www.dnr.wa.gov/publications/amp_rec_discover_pass_statewide.pdf
I do believe a NW Pass is needed for the tow vehicles, maybe Mumblewood will post up to confirm? I believe they needed them when they did the overnighter last November? I have a couple extras, let me know if needed?
I'll call and double check on what passes are required tomorrow with the Enumclaw Rangers, they were closed when I stopped by this afternoon
