February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

May 2010
Hi everyone, finally getting around to posting some Moab pics. We had an awesome trip (hard not to)...but as usual had to shell out a few extra bucks afterwards
Here's pics from "Behind the Rocks" trail:

And then we ran "Pritchett Canyon"...
***Jeep will have some new "beauty marks", but will be okay... Rolled it over and drove the last half of Pritchett!

Looks like a good time, I saw the rollover pics on facebook hope you & the jeep are OK. Let's see some of those after pics?
That set of pics that has you climbing the wall on the left side, what trail was that?
Jessi, you need to put some rocks in your pockets for added weight

Re: May 2010
After we put the Jeep back on the trailer, we had one more day to mess around Moab. Decided to rent a Polaris RZR (http://www.utvguide.net/polaris_rzr_4.htm) and check out the Sand Dunes:
***Not pictured...tore out the passenger's side A-arm and doubled the intended budget for the trip...oops! Wasn't built very tough, that's for sure... Let's just say the Rental place had no sympathy. But we sure did have fun while it lasted. Maybe we shouldn't have jumped it so high?

Drove it like a rental
You really did drive it like a rental!
Nice air sir. Did the rental place give you a pair of wings. You earned them!

Forgot to take after pics...
I think the pics you are referring to are the ones that say Pritchett Canyon above them...
As for rocks, well, maybe next time

Doesn't everyone?

No, no wings...we decided it probably wouldn't be good to share these pics with them..... Probably will never do business again with them based on how they acted when we brought it back.

Where did you have the issue? Trail / location wise... was it on a waterfall in Pritchet. I hope it was all small body stuff that broke...

Nice Thats what it's all about, having fun. Nobody gets hurt, it's all good. I'm just glad you were not on a motorcycle...no roll cage

Yep, definitely had a great time! Jeep damage was mostly all exterior stuff.....bent hood and grill, broke windshield/banged up window frame, broke KC lights, flat fenders are tilted unevenly..... Overall not too bad, and the roll cage worked great!

Re: May 2010
We recently discovered that the Tennessee folks who helped me flip my Jeep back over in Moab, posted a YouTube of the event. It has more coverage of flipping the Jeep back over than anything else, but it gives you a sneak peek anyway.
