February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Winter Olympics
So I went to the Olympics. Most of it was fun but there was a little bit of suck also. I didn't get too many pic's and there mostly Hokey pic's
The first night we got there we didn't have much time to hang around, so we checked in and bolted for the pairs figure skating finals. I don't have any pic's of that since we forgot to bring the camera.
The next day we were off to see the U.S. team play the Swiss so we woke up early enough to hit down town and buy a camera and check out down town. It was super busy down town.
the first Hokey game.

The next day We left the hotel room for an RV site that would put us alot closer to the rest of our events, so we got the camper all hooked up and left to go watch Shawn White whoop up for the 1/2 pipe finals. We get to where the bus is going to take us up to the mountain and .......here comes the suck of the trip..........They had cancelled our general admission tickets due to weather and unsafe standing conditions. But the people who were telling us this were super nice about it and refunded our tickets and helped us get tickets for a different event at face value so we went to another hokey game.

The next day at the U.S. vs Norway game

For the last day we were there we had tickets for the skeleton race but we were getting pretty bad colds at this point and they weren't going to start till about 4PM and we wouldn't be getting back until after 1AM we decided to take off. They were also really cheap tickets and we didn't think we would see much more than a blur going by.
All in all it was a great time and we had a lot of fun.

Looks like it was a blast, based on our conversation, sounds like it was very well planned out? How was crossing the border? Thanks for picking me up the souvenirs also

Thanks it was a lot of fun, the boarder Xing went pretty easy, under 5 min on the way there and about 10 min on the way out. It was kinda funny on the way home right before the guard station a Mercedes suv thing cut me off pretty bad and they made him pull over to search his car
