February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Barb's Balls and Bonfire
n an earlier Rimrock trip this year a couple of the wives came up with the idea of holding a little race between the women. A few weeks later it morfed into what is now know as Barb's Balls and Bonfire! (More on that later.)
Basically it was you standard 3 ball race with a few twists. Here's how it worked....
Each team had to consist of a man and woman
Starting order was determined by a random draw on Saturday morning.
Each team got to decide what driver (male or Female) goes first.
On the way through the course the passenger placed the three balls on individual tees throughout the course.
At the end of the course it made a loop and directed them back through the course in the opposite direction. On the way back through, the driver removed the balls from the tees. The time stopped when the vehicle passed back through the finish/start gate.
Each team's final time was made up of the combined times from both drivers. TheFastest final time won.
You had 12 minutes to finish the course. If you timed out for whatever reason, you took the 12 min time plus a 5 min penalty. In a nutshell, a DNF netted a time of 17 minutes plus any other time penalties that they had incurred.
Breaking or knocking down a banner was an automatic DNF.
There were be several "gates" (cones) that they to go through during the course. They had to get AT LEAST THREE TIRES THROUGH THE GATE for it to count. If they didn't, the forward progress did not count until they went back and get throught the gate.
Hitting a cone added a 30 second penalty to thier time. They could only recieve one penalty per gate until they made the loop at the end. Once that turn was made and they headed back into the course, the gates are live again and penaltys were be added if hit.
The winner took home $300, 2nd Place $80, 3rd got $20.

I don't have much to do with it this year, but I'll be there as Todd's winch bitc.....err.....co driver. The party sounds like it's going to be just down the road from my house. I don't have the motorhome anymore (yeah, the one with no heat ) but you guys are more than welcome to one of the spare bedrooms or couchs if you need a place to crash.
