Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Which balljoint press?
Does anyone know were you can get a ball joint press that will not bend but doesn't cost an arm and leg????? Here is the story.....replaced drivers side upper ball joint with an offset ball joint yesterday. Used a Harbor Frieght ball joint press ($50 variety), and it worked but bent in the process!!!!!! The good news is the Jeep's drivers side tire is aligned straight up and down......... not toed in 2 degress at the top as before! The tires should wear a little more even now. LOL Passenger side needs a 1 degree ball joint but I should get a new press before I risk destroying a $110 ball joint!!!!!

I have the same HF one, but I've never used it on a ball joint, just u-joints. Works great for that.

I borrowed Zip's but the cup size just wasn't quite right so I rented one from Shucks for pretty cheap.

I just did mine this weekend. Rented it at Autozone with a $100 deposit. When you return it, you get $100 back! Its free and doesn't bend!

Yep....Loaned (deposit required but otherwise free) one from O'Reilly's!!! Put the offset ball joint in and with the right tools only took about an hour and NO bending.
Harbor Freight press might not be too bad after a little research!!! They have another kit for 4WD balljoints that needs to be used with the kit I have. It would fix the potential for the clamp to become off-centered and then bend!
Live and learn...... BUT, the best part of all is....the front tires are straight again.
