February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

11.27.10 RnL Unplanned Run
Homey, Shuey & I met up on I-90 around 8amish and headed over Snoqalmie Pass, Homey & Shuey hauled ass, I loitered back with the crazies. Three semi's decided to cross two of the four lanes, then a car pulls in front of me and hits its brakes, so I shift down & try to go, but start spinning out. Thought I was going to be chaining up in the middle of the freeway
We went in through Manstash camp up the 4W307 to Tripod Flats, met up
w/ a few folks from the eastside & BS'd for a bit (Insanityfab)
Learned to tie a farmers not as I had broke my winch cable due to previous runs
birdnesting, my fault for not rewinding the cable afterwards. Broke my cable trying to climb the hill right out of manastash camp
Anyway we ran up the 4W308 (Shoestring), but decided to turn around at the
Shoestring Lake Lookout as it was 2:30, we were wet & cold. Our initial thought
was to drop down the short switchbacks and continue through the (4W330)Tipover
maybe next time...next year, overnighter
Snow was good, about three deep, very powdery, hills were hit with
controlled skinny pedal...driving over Snoqualmie Pass was the white knuckle
part this AM (for me), drivers & truckers are crazy...it's free for all at the top
Mr & Mrs Holmes...congratulations again, nice tans by the way
Obligatory Gemma pic
