Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Re: Beadlocks?
Well some of my Walker Evans beadlocks got delivered today. The weather caused 3 of them to get stuck in Portland on Christmas Eve, but the 4th made it all the way to Everett, put on a truck for delivery, but not delivered due to snow. The three that were stuck in Portland got delivered today. The 4th is still sitting in Everett in an exception status waiting for the weather to be good enough to deliver. Hmmm, it was good enough to deliver three of them...
Oh well, the snow is finally melting, so the last one should be delivered soon. Time to get off my butt and get the tires dismounted from the old rims...

Re: Beadlocks?
Got 2 of my tires mounted to the new rims tonight. Hopefully I'll get the other 2 done tomorrow, and get them mounted on the Jeep Thursday.
Wow, never thought 24 bolts would be so much work
The little costco compressor had no problem popping the inner bead into place.
Jon, I used your bead glue, it was pretty easy to use.

Re: Beadlocks?
Sweet! I've just got a couple small things left (trackbar bushings, pinion seal and yolk) and I'm ready to wheel. I put new calipers on and so far my brakes have been working great. It sucks having a broken jeep and waiting for parts!

Re: Beadlocks?
I recommend the EBC pads. At first I thought they caused all my problems, but it turned out that both my rear calipers were seized.

Re: Beadlocks?
So was the WE rim problem related, or just coincidence?
Also, did you do new rotors as well, if so did you stick with stock?

Re: Beadlocks?
They are cast in China, but machined here. The wheel was a result of a POS torque wrench and bad timing. My rotors didn't warp, so they are still stock.

Re: Beadlocks?
My stock rotors look pretty good. No grooving, and no apparent warping, so I may just do pads.
