Jeep CJ axle ??????

Jeep CJ axle ?????? Empty Jeep CJ axle ??????

Post  chrisstewart36 Tue May 13, 2008 11:00 pm

From the board I think zip is the only one with a CJ, but if anyone knows be sure to pipe up. I have a thought ,I have posted in on ROF but no one has responded. I like the hub conversions, just can't afford them. So here is the thought process I am going through right now, and if anyone can help please do. Is a CJ's dana 30 axle tube the same size and a Jeep TJ's dana 30? If so would it be possible to cut the inner c's from the axle and weld them to my rubi 44? (Providing I get the proper caster and all that) I figure if I could do that I would be able to run CJ's axle ends. That way I would have manual hubs, 5 by 5.5. Any help would be appreciated thanks
