Glad to be here - under the circumstances

Post  ITSA96 on Fri Apr 03, 2009 2:44 am

I was referred here by L&R Jeeper. I have been an avid 4wheeler going on 12 yrs now, have worked in the industry for the last 10, and am currently the Parts Manager at TC's Off Road. Had my jeep stolen Jan 7th and have been trying to get the word out as much as possible. Looking for a good deal on a new rig. Till then hope to see you guys on the trail or in the shop.
Thanks, Adam

Bummer, that really sucks to have your Jeep stolen. My 97 TJ was stolen out of a park-n-ride, but was recovered within 24 hours with $7500 in damage. The insurance company repaired it rather than total it, and it was never quite the same. I'm not sure which is worse, to get it back, or to not get it back...

Good luck on finding a replacement! And welcome to the site...

Thanks. Unfortunately, it was not insured at the time so now I have to start over from square one. All my tools and recovery equipment were in it as well. For me it's having stolen what I worked for for the last ten yrs of my life, and like losing a family member. We don't get paid well in this industry and my jeep was all I had to show for it. But you don't need to hear my sad story, lol. I do really appreciate the support!
