Yakima river float-fest

Post  SUPAFLY on Thu Apr 09, 2009 8:07 pm

Since everyone is so busy this summer, lets do this in July and camp one night. Set up camp, drive the tubes and rafts upriver, float down for about 6 hours, go get the rigs, camp. Last year was a blast, but the canoes weren't very fun and we need to tie everyone together so we don't get separated. I need a HUGE cooler too! List some dates that work and if you'd be interested. Once again, this is a VERY slow and tame river so no need to be worried.

So we are planning for July 25th to do this. Its a Saturday, so does anyone want to stay the night, or just go for the day?

We're heading up early Saturday the 25th and setting up camp down river, floating all day, and spending the night. So far, it looks like me, Stef, Jon, Jess, Dale, Michelle, Gabe, Melissa, and Rylee. Anyone else?

What time does everyone want to meet, and where? Breakfast in North Bend? We need to get going early since we are setting up camp first, then floating for 6 or so hours.
