February RnL meeting
Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:14 pm by Zip
Tuesday February 3rd at 7pm, at Ricardos restaurant in Factoria, unless someone comes up with another suggestion
Dues are up for 2015
Take a look at your calendars for this summer to discuss an out of state run this summer. Also for when and where'd you like to go?

Re: "Sleepless Run"
Late Night over the wagon trail (read party), get to milk pond around 1-3 am setup a quick tent and sleep for a couple hours. Wake up and head to Whistiln Jacks for some breakfast then off to the rocks and maybe ................. Then head back on the gravel roads back to Green Water for a Mexican dinner then home by 6ish

Re: "Sleepless Run"
Enumclaw Safeway gas station? Let me be sure I understand...Friday (10/17) overnight run over the Naches trail to Milk Lake area (sleep) Saturday (10/18, early AM) breakfast late AM, run up the road to the ROCKS, then back over Pyramid Pass to Greenwater (10/18 PM) for Mexican dinner...CORRECT?
If so, I'll need to figure out a nap schedule ...what happened to Sunday? Other than the wagon trail is there going to be any other trail running ?

Re: "Sleepless Run"
We usually make it to breakfast around 8 or 9 am
As for trails we will see what everyone feels like running that day.

Re: "Sleepless Run"
Is anyone trailering their rigs out to the end of the pavement on the FS70 road? Is this where the airdown area will be?

Re: "Sleepless Run"
I probably won't bother with the trailer for this one. I don't know if Jon and Jess are going, but if they are, they'll be trailering.
Re: "Sleepless Run"
If I had a trailer I probably would not feel comfortable leaving it deep into fs70. "That der looks like a nice truck and trailer!"

Re: "Sleepless Run"
Everyone OK with me bringing my trailer along, I have been up to Moon and Funny rocks last year and that trail shouldn't be a problem but have never done Wagon trail? Narrow tree lined turns would be it's cryptonite. I brought it all the way up from Socal on my toyota but still haven't tested on the Jeep so this might be a good shakedown.

Re: "Sleepless Run"
I gave up, taking the jeep to the brake shop in the AM...I'll post up tomorrow if I'll make Rieter on Sunday
I'll be lobbying for some trail running other than just the Naches, maybe Milk Lake, Manastash, Tipover to the Rocks
Anyone thought about staying over Saturday night also
