Not that I have wheeled with many/any of you all before.
Thinking I could figure my way out of work for a few days. That and I will need to get the latest project done.
You've Jeeped with me and are welcome to come along with us on this run.

This Run is now locked as far as who is coming. As a club we will not be taking any other non members (other than the ones who we have already accepted) with us as to keep the number of us down on the trail.
We as a club decided this tonight at our monthly meeting.

-Bill/Robin
-Justin/Stef
-Haywood
-Chris

Thought I would also say thanks for letting me in on a small group run. Not being part of the regular team and all that.
Looking forward to it. Any pre meeting on the subject I need to attend? Fees? stuff like that.

If you want to attend our next club meeting your more than welcome to. We will probably end up talking about it there. The next club meeting will be Monday August 3rd at 7:00PM at Mick Kellys inside Renton Motor Cycle.

So kinda talking to Bill tonight about places to stay and he was telling me that Lk Tahoe is about 5 or so min. from the end of the trail and parking there and driving the Jeep's to the beginning of the trail is an option. That got me thinking that it may not be a bad idea to do it that way also. I know my Jeep will drive fine on the roads at the start of the run but ya never know about the end of a run.
Just talking here not saying we should do that, but it is another option.

Thats actually a pretty good idea. I'd rather get the street driving out of the way BEFORE my jeep gets beat to shit!

As long as there's somewhere to top off the gas tank before getting onto the trail that'll work for me. Any idea how many miles around it is? I plan on carrying 10 extra gallons + the 19 gallon tank, but my gas mileage sucks...literally

It's been a number of years since i've been there but there was gas on the lake side within 10 miles of the trail head. You have to drive a few miles on the other end to get gas(back to the highway).
Theres a camp ground on the lake side that might have some extra space to park truck and trailer.
With my flat fender, buick V6 with 15 gal tank, I made it to the highway (nearest gas station) without adding fuel. I was carrying 5 gal extra but never added it. I'm sure it will be a good time, it's definitely beautiful. Remember 55mph in California with a trailer. I hear the fine is $270.00
