I don't think any of us have a 2 Jeep trailer. There will be several driving their Jeeps down, so you won't be the only one.

Haha! Good Guess! I just figured since Bill kept referring to me as "Paul from ROF" that I would keep that moniker My ROF name is sizemic1. This will be my first time on the Rubicon and I can't wait!

Hey everyone,
I called the Icehouse Resort to make a reservation for the night of August 22nd. I mentioned that it would be for around 12 Jeeps (provided everyone is planning to show up that day) and requested a group tent site. I was told they do have a group site that would accommodate for trucks and trailers too. However, I need to check back with them next week to verify that the site is available. I guess they need to verify if another group (Search & Rescue) is coming that weekend or the one previous to that... Will let you all know what I find out.
If we are able to reserve a spot, it is $175 night for the site. What do you all think about using club money for this??? Or, divided up it would only be about $15 (if we all end up staying there), so that's not too bad.

If we are leaving vehicles there, would we have to pay that nightly rate for 3 or 4 nights? Sounds like maybe we would. Next question would be does the club have the funds?

I'm happy to pay for my share and/or donate whatever amount you feel is fair to the club.

Not that I have wheeled with many/any of you all before.

Thinking I could figure my way out of work for a few days. That and I will need to get the latest project done.

UPDATE:
Okay guys, so I talked to the Icehouse Resort again and they have confirmed that Search & Rescue IS planning to stay with them the same weekend we are going to be arriving... This means, come to find out, that they have NO available spots at this time for anyone else. I guess they reserve the entire campground for them So.........we need to come up with a new plan I guess. I was told to check back with them the end of July or first part of August, because they would have a better idea of how many they were expecting.......they might have some space available depending on the head count they receive for the Search & Rescue group. Hmmmm, any ideas? If there is a meeting tonight, we can also discuss this then.

Homey and I may have an Idea....................I'll get back to all on this after the next delegats meeting.
