Kinda what I was thinking after I talked to Bill
As long as there's somewhere to top off the gas tank before getting onto the trail that'll work for me. Any idea how many miles around it is? I plan on carrying 10 extra gallons + the 19 gallon tank, but my gas mileage sucks...literally
Kind of reviewed the route from Lake Tahoe (east to west) to (Hwy193N) Georgetown to be approximately (79 miles/1 hour 40 minutes) via Hwy 50 through Placerville, to Georgetown. Last gas would be in Georgetown, so going this route should not be an issue for me

We'll be determining all the logistics at the club meeting on Monday, so look for an update either Monday night or Tuesday. Getting close!!!

I was gonna wait til the meeting, but figured I'd post this now. I can't make it, money is too tight.

Hope you can make it rubirock!
There is a bunch of discussion on this trip in this thread:
http://rockdnlockd.forumotion.com/general-f1/club-meeting-is-monday-august-3rd-t483.htm
Still some minor details to work out, but we have a plan. Probably need to summarize everything in this thread or start a new one...
