New tires
Well I bought some new (to me) tires today - 36x12.5R15 IROKs. Bought them from Dale's friend Bob. They have at least 90% of the tread left, actually closer to 100% on 2 of them.
They came on 15x7 rims, so I think I'm going to need to find some different rims to run them on. I'm pretty sure that's too narrow for this size tire.
Also going to need to do a little flare trimming to make them work - these things are huge!!!

Re: New tires
Those are some nice tires, bias or radial? Jon's running the same style & size also isn't he...wheels do seem a little on the narrow side, lots of sidewall bulge

Iroks? I thought they were TSL's? You could actually use those wheels if you want to, just a little on the narrow side.

Re: New tires
Maybe they are TSLs they just say Super Swamper on them, so how do you tell? Also I'm pretty sure they are bias, not radial. the sidewall says 36x12.5-15LT, no R, so I think that means bias ply. Whatever they are, the tread is massive. I'll post pics up later today.

Okay, I'm pretty sure they are TSLs - the tread looks just like this:

Well then, if they're TSL's are they siped? if not, you might ask Justin to see if you could borrow his cutter? or even better see if he'll do them for you

I think a man should experience grooving tires at least once in his life!

They are not siped, so I will probably borrow Justin's cutter.

Re: New tires
Installed the new (to me) Warn Bumper yesterday that I bought from Jon Hale - that lets me carry a spare the size of the new tires:

And here is a pic of the new tires sitting in the garage:

Don't think it will happen that fast - gotta find some new rims on a budget first
