Groovy

Post  wsm04rubi on Sat Nov 08, 2008 10:27 pm

That's what my new tires are Laughing

Got them grooved today!!! The tire groover worked great Justin! I just did a single groove across the middle of the 'V' on each of the tread blocks. Took about an hour and a half to do all 4 tires.

Only burned myself once lol!

Cool! How many blades did you break? I went through a bunch of blades before I figured out how hard I could push. Oh yeah, THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS!

I didn't break any blades Very Happy

Only used the one blade, and it was still sharp when I finished!

If you wanted more wet traction for the street, you could turn the blade upside down and sipe all the lugs.

I may just pay the tire store to sipe them when I get them mounted. Or I may just run them for a while and see how they do. I only drive about 8 miles round trip per day.
