I'm putting chrome moly axles and outboard axle seals in a 97 TJ and I have a few questions
1) Is the ouside diameter of Yukon axles larger. (27 spline have not pulled apart to measure the differance)
2) Will the inner seal need replaced. (differant size)
3) The outboard tube seal is really tight on Yukon axle, is that normal.
I noticed that a number of you have installed the tube seal, any problems.

Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know of someone running a dana 300 in a TJ? Thinking about upgrading TC and options are 241, dana 300, and atlas. I like the idea of a dana being 6 in shorter than 231 but don't know what kind of fitment issues I might have. Also like abilty of twin stick. Any advice?

I’m showing a P0432, thanks to Bill's listing, it show as a P0432 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) I have been doing some research and found that some people have changed their 02 sensors and some have had to replace their catalytic converters.
I have my CJ outfitted with a Rocky-Road SOA with High Steer but my sway bar and extensions bind backwards and get pinned between the YJ Spring and the tie rod bracket not allowing me to turn. Rocky-Road suggests in their packet not to even run a sway bar since it doesn't do anything more than what the leaf springs and hydro shocks are doing.

What do you guys think? Take the sway bar out all together or fab/buy the 4" extended sway bar brackets to get the sway bar and extensions lined ...

I am getting the opportunity to test out some new CV Axles for the Rubicon.

They're made by Longfield Super Axles and if you know anything about Toyotas then you know he builds the best!

http://longfieldsuperaxles.com/

I am supposed to beat on these to try to break them. If they perform well they will go into production.

I'm getting them installed tomorrow. Pic's on my rig to follow.

Just something to share.......So..... I was bored this last Satuday and needed something to do. Some of you probably have already done this but, for those who haven't..... I did the Locker by-pass w/ a dead man switch, which works out real well. It only took 10 min max to do and now....I can lock'em up in 2H, 4H and 4L also like normal they still won't engage over 10 mph and diengage over 40mph. (I haven't personally checked to see if it does but, will soon...lol). The dead man switch is to shut ...
