Reiter Trails 2/21/2009

Post  wsm04rubi on Sat Feb 21, 2009 11:15 pm

We had a great time wheeling today. We ran Back Door, played around the rock wall on the Power Line trail for a while, then ran Isabelle, and Trail of Doom. Trail of Doom was really fun - awesome trail. It's short, but really gnarly.

I never took a count, but we had at least 10 rigs out there today.

I didn't take many pics. The only place I got my camera out was playing around on the rock wall. Hopefully others will post up some of their pics. Here are some of mine:

Awesome pics Bill! Especially the one of zip on the rackface.

Vids will take a bit longer, over 100 clips and 10GB to edit thru.

Reiter Pit Carnage

Post  MadMark on Tue Feb 24, 2009 9:30 pm

This was the maiden run with the new old jeep. I said before the day started, lets see what falls out the bottom and i'll know what to replace. That stump just would not move.

Nothing more fun than putting on new parts. front drivers side u-joint lost a cap and most of the bearings out one more.

Just returned to wheeling after a 8 year absence. Beat a 52 Flatfender for a whole bunch of years.
Thanks for the invitation Zip to break some parts. Hope to see you all on the trail again.

A good picture Sue took of somebody else's Jeep.

Yup, that's what I did. I picked up a used ZJ tie-rod that is a direct bolt on replacement, only much beefier. And I carry the old one as a spare...
