I Got the P0432 code..........

Well, recently my engine light came on and thanks to Young he showed me how to get the codes. I’m showing a P0432, thanks to Bill's listing, it show as a P0432 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) I have been doing some research and found that some people have changed their 02 sensors and some have had to replace their catalytic converters. Has anyone on here received this code? If so, what was your experience with it? I also came across this “Federally mandated 8yr 80,000 mile emission warrantee” which will cover the replacement of the catalytic converter, is that true?

Glad the listing helped! If it is the cat, that is supposed to be covered by warranty until 80K miles. The emissions warranty may also cover the O2 sensors.

So, went down to the dealer today and they said I'm covered on the 8yr/80,000mil for a new catalytic converter.

My appointment is on Monday for them to verify the code. My attendance for the run looks a lot better.

UPDATE:

Well, I finally brought the rig into the dealer because, due to that last snow run I was fixing the winch and unplugged the battery which turned off the engine light and they told me they cannot find any problem. So, I had to wait until the engine light came back on, which it did this Sunday. Anyways, long story short, I took it in and they said the Cat and all four O2 Senors are bad, Good thing: The Cat is cover under warranty The bad thing:...... it's on back order
